For Garden of Earthy Delights, I’ve created textiles that celebrate nature’s rhythms and the quiet art of handcraft.
Using both recycled and new fabrics, I follow colour and texture wherever they lead — sometimes bright and bold, sometimes soft and earthy. Traditional quilt blocks meet freehand stitching and improvisation in quilts, hangings, cushions, and throws.
A recent piece features garden birds, hand-stitched with Kantha embroidery — a simple running stitch from India that brings gentle movement and texture to each calico block.
These works are made slowly, with care and attention, weaving together stories of repair, renewal, and everyday beauty.
